From the mid-1970s to the mid-1980s, CozyPad was a cornerstone of Innovation Living. Flemming Højfeldt, our founder, started making handcrafted candles and leather belts in Copenhagen's hippie scene. His focus quickly shifted to bean bags, the ultimate symbol of the 1970s' informal floor-life living.
Inspired by this free-spirited lifestyle, Flemming created a playful collection of "playboy couches"—basic, multifunctional, foam-based pieces that added effortless comfort to Europe's laid-back interiors.
Today, we proudly reintroduce this iconic archetype under a new name: CozyPad. A tribute to timeless comfort, reimagined with modern craftsmanship—true to our heritage, yet designed for the way we live now.

CozyPad is a modular sofa bed concept that is endless in its possibilities, flexibility, and comfortable sleeping space. The modular elements and loose cushions are easily rearranged, allowing the space to transform and adapt to whatever the day brings.

However, in 1971, our founder, Flemming Højfeldt, had a great idea for beanbags inspired by the flower power generation. Innovation Living™ won multiple design awards and collaborated with renowned Danish designer Verner Panton.
